OK seems like this is working right now. I have been having problems with this thing. The local cable company ran cable up the mountain (finally) but the dial-up service we have seems to have taken a dive. We will not see the cable operative untill May or June so Mom seems to beable to post , but I have been locking up every time I get on.

So to one and all HAPPY ST. PATRICK's DAY!

With a bit o luck I will beable to post after this.

Cheers,
Tom

Writting....

This is the results of the hand writing analysis that I found on Pepple Pies page....

You fill every waking moment with activity.
You are a shy, idealistic person who does not find it easy to have relationships, especially intimate ones.
You are affectionate, passionate, expressive, and future-oriented.
You are a talkative person, maybe even a busybody!
You enjoy life in your own way and do not depend on the opinions of others.

Well, Mom?

Support VETMARCH2006 ! Help our veterans get shat was promised to them! Lets keep the disabled in mind and help them cope.

Cheers,

Tom

VETMARCH 2006

This is still the big issue here. No matter what your politics Vets deserve to have the promises made delivered! Take a carfull look around you today and decide if things would be different if nobody had answered the call to duty. Would you beable to do the things you do, or say the things you say?  I know the answer, I've been to a lot of places in the world.

Please support the VETMARCH 2006  If you can not attend in DC or in your capital consider making a donation so Vets that want to come but can't afford to can get a chance to make it.

Cheers,
Tom

                             Why a March?

                             2006 Press Release

A March will demonstrate that the veterans... are

ORGANIZED AND

"SPEAKING WITH ONE VOICE".

Why conduct a march in this manner?

The veterans of this Nation are truly professional people.  We understand determination, commitment, tactics, organization and survival.  We understand what it means to follow orders without question or hesitation.  We understand what it means to place unquestionable trust in those with whom you serve.  We, above all others in the Nation, understand that you must “fight” for what you believe to be right, and once you have achieved that goal, you must “fight” twice as hard to maintain it.

Please note that the videos on this web page demonstrate how our troops must  fight to receive benefits that the government promised them when they joined the military.

I would like people to see that veterans do not have support from the lawmakers in Washington D.C. when it comes time to provide promised health care and other benefits.

As you will read, on links within this web site, every year the Veterans Department does not have enough money to properly budget for our military veterans and it’s always an issue in Congress, each and every year.

Disabled veterans that become more disabled, i.e. 50% to 100% should receive the extra disability benefit within a few months because they can no longer work and support their families, but the government may take years to approve the funds for these individuals, some never get approved because they have died awaiting for a “piece of paper” and these benefits should have been approved within a few months but instead lawmakers save money by taking their time approving these disability claims because many of these veterans die in the meantime.

Additionally, the VA will not approve many of the claims even though they are legitimate claims with legitimate justifications.

I would like individuals to write, email or call their elected officials and asked that legislation for  “Mandatory Funding for VA Health Care”be enacted and that all benefits that are promised to our Troops are giving to them when the time comes for them to receive them.

A sad passing...

I am sorry to say that MominAmerica2 has thrown in the towel on her MSN blog. I still hold out hope that she will be able to continue, but, maybe it is time for a new direction.  This blog has gotten her through a lot of healing. She started it when she was going through radiation treatment for Hypo-Thyroid and has been her refuge for the past several months. To all of you who were there with her I thank you.

She will leave the site up and I suppose comments will keep working.

Thankyou all for your support of her.

Cheers,
Tom
